The Dawg Pound
If Cleveland is known for anything other than losing (sorry guys I had to), then you know about the Dawg Pound. Cleveland fans in general are amazingly loyal and a very intense fan base. I had the pleasure of going to a Browns game 2 years ago and had an absolute BLAST.
The Dawg Pound is located in the east end zone at FirstEnergy Field
The nickname "Dawgs" came from previous cornerback Hanford Dixon - Dixon described the defense as playing dog-versus-cat mentality with their other defensive teammates and after the training camp in 1985 it just stuck
The attitude went so far into training camp that Dixon and fellow teammate Frank Minnifield even began barking with their defensive team when they would make a sack or a great play
After training camp Dixon and Minnifield got a "Dawg Pound" banner and hung it in front of fans before their first pre season game in 1985 and the rest is history
One of the biggest reasons I chose to do a stadium tour on FirstEnergy is hands down because of the Browns fan base. Every team goes through slumps, some much worse than others, but being there for them when a team is at their worst is what matters. I love all of my teams and will continuously support them until I die. (That might sound a little corny or dramatic but it is 100% how I feel)

FirstEnergy field is one of the only NFL stadiums with no pillars, posts or any obstructed views
Jeff Garcia completed a 99-yard touchdown pass to Andre Davis at FirstEnergy field for the 11th time in history in 2004 and as of 2019 there are only 13 total in history
