There were two stadiums prior to GABP, the first being Crosley Field and the second being Riverfront Stadium.
Crosley Field:
The birthplace of the Reds in 1912
Local business man Powel Crosley Jr. bought the stadium which gave it its name
1939 was the first year Cincinnati hosted and All Star game at Crosley
1966 The Beatles played at Crosley

Riverfront Stadium:
First stadium to paint metric distances on the outfield wall
Home of the "Big Red Machine"
First stadium to have the entire field covered in AstroTurf
Pete Rose broke the all time hit record on September 11, 1985 with 4,192
3 out of the Reds 5 World Series wins were played at Riverfront

Great American Ball Park
What a GREAT name for a baseball stadium. I may be a little partial but I really love this stadium. It is super easy to get to and SMACK DAB in the middle of the city with so many surrounding attractions.
Whats better than fire flame shooting power stacks? And on Fridays they have Firework Friday - win or lose!
Hometown Hero
Every season a new team and town is picked to host the All Star game. This game comes jam packed with the best baseball players in the league, celebrities, hundreds and thousands of fans from all over the United States AND a home run derby and of course, the All Star game.
In 2015 Cincinnati was picked to host the All Star weekend. Reds very own third-baseman Todd Frazier won it ALL! Check out this highlight video on the home run derby in 2015.
I have been to countless games at GABP each time better than the last. The fans are awesome, always a fun time and not a bad seat in the house. Here are some of my favorite pictures I've taken from my times at GABP.
