This blog is going to focus primarily on fan based favorite stadiums, ball parks and arenas. Yes, I am a Patriots fan, I'm going to get that established first. However, I am a HUGE sports history buff. I LOVE sports history. I find it only fitting to feature Gillette Stadium first because well the Patriots just won their 6TH SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patriots originally played at Nickerson Field, University of Boston's football field
Patriots have also played at Fenway Park, Alumni Stadium and Harvard Stadium before their first home field was built in Foxborough in 1971

All They Do Is Win Win Win
The Patriots have the best home winning record in the NFL.
Since the stadium opened in 2002 the Patriots home record is 118-23.
The AFC Championship has been played 7 times at Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots have won 6 out of the 7 AFC Championship games at Gillette Stadium.

The Hall at Patriot Place
In 2008 the Kraft family opened The Hall at Patriot Place which is an interactive museum for fans and visitors
The Hall has all kinds of game worn memorabilia, exclusive never before seen video footage of the team and some really cool interactive features
One really cool feature is the Super Bowl exhibition created in 2015 - this allows fans to experience Malcolm Butlers game winning interception of the Super Bowl 51 against the Seattle Seahawks on a HUGE 16x9 video wall
Also in the Super Bowl exhibition there is a 45-foot wide projected screen that takes fans into some of the greatest Patriot moments in history
And last but not least, there are interactive games that let you read from Bill Belichicks playbook, listen to game calls from Tom Brady in a huddle, test your vertical jump against Vince Wilfork, kick a field goal and hear never before heard stories from the players themselves
Best Game Played at Gillette Stadium
This will probably vary on who you talk to and throughout the years but in my opinion it was the AFC Playoff game against the Ravens in 2015
The Patriots and Ravens have a bit of a rivalry, especially in the post season
On Jan. 10, 2015 the Baltimore Ravens came to Gillette Stadium to play the Patriots hoping to win and advance to the AFC Championship
The Patriots have an awesome winning percentage when two things are in play: cold weather and playing at home
The Patriots were first trailing 14-0 in first quarter - but came back and answered those 14 Raven's points with 14 of their own AND STILL somehow managed to still be down 28-14 at halftime?!?
But in the third quarter a trick play came about and Julian Edelman (wide receiver) threw to Danny Amendola (another wide receiver) for a 51-yard touch down!
And well the rest is history, literally. Duron Harmon (safety) intercepted a pass from Joe Flacco on the 11-yard line and ended the game.
Patriots won 35-31.
